Border Collie Rescue provides a limited range of service in addition to taking in dogs (Rehoming) and offering dogs for adoption (Adoption). For information on these services, click on the 'Adoption' or 'Rehome' buttons on the top menu list.

Telephone advice line -

Border Collie Rescue runs a weekly telephone advice line for training advice or support and advice for people with dogs suffering from behavioural issues.

One to one assessments for training and behavioural issues -

If you need more than advice, you may be able to book your dog (and yourself) in for a one to one session to help you with the problem. For more details of this service - phone our advice line.

Small grants to cover emergencies in time of need -

Subject to available funding, Border Collie Rescue can offer small grants to people with dogs in times of financial hardship and great need. Each case is considered on its individual merits and the service only available to owners of Border Collies.

These grants cover two areas, veterinary treatment / medication and food for a dog, and are only available to people residing in Scotland who are in receipt of means tested benefits and who have no other means of assistance with their problem.

Grants are up to a maximum of £100 per client, per annum, and payment is made directly to the supplier of the service or goods, not to the applicant.
A written application is require, along with proof of eligibly.
